"Wade was an excellent tour guide while on Maui. He took us on the Waterfalls tour...amazing all around! One of the best parts was Wade’s interest and knowledge about Hawaiian plants and the general terrain. Highly recommend."

At No Ka Oi Adventures, we believe it is important to give back to your community. For each day spent with No Ka Oi Adventures, $5 will be donated to a Maui non-profit. Each participant will be asked to which organization they would like their money to go.
Below are several non-profits that are deserving of your financial contribution. Please research these sites to learn how your money will be spent here on Maui.
Hawaii Nature Center
This was Wade’s employer during four (!) years of graduate school. Their center in ‘Iao Valley educates thousands of schoolchildren each year about the importance of taking care of our island home.
Habitat for Humanity Maui
Each night on Maui, hundreds of people sleep in county parks while mansions and condos sit empty. How’s that? Habitat for Humanity, a community organization, works in partnership with people in need to build and renovate decent, affordable housing. The houses then are sold to those in need at no profit and with no interest charged.
Maui Food Bank
The Maui Food Bank’s mission is to help the hungry in Maui County by collecting and distributing food through community partnerships.
Protect Kaho’olawe Ohana
This group works to preserve important cultural sites on “The Target Island”, carelessly bombed by the United States Navy from 1941-1990. They are also working to restore the forest, completely grazed by goats that were abandoned on the island.
Hawaii People's Fund
Hawai‘i People's Fund is a publicly supported community fund established in 1972 to provide grants to progressive grassroots social change organizations working in Hawai‘i. It's a unique partnership of donors, activist grantmakers and grantees committed to positive social change and a more equitable distribution of wealth, resources and power. Hawai‘i People's Fund assists groups considered too small, too new, or too controversial by traditional funding agencies.
